Media choices

Art is such a personal experience for both the creator and the audience. Each person walks away from a piece with a glimpse into the creator's soul. Which media do you prefer to use to express yourself and how does this reflect upon your personality?

Poetry?
Prose?
Essay?
Images?

at first i think not all art is that way. there is so much 'non speaking' art around (here on DA even more). even if the pictures are beautiful sometimes, there is no meaning, no message. its not a complain, its just a fact i think...

oersonaly i use whatever medium comes into my mind (hands). sometimes i think (and feel) more visuall and sometimes i need to write it down. mostly these two 'phases' switsch from one to the other and therefore in my visuall phase e.g. i cant write anything and the other way around. ito be honest im happy to able to do it both ways. creating something leaves me in some way satisfied (though never completly) as i try to put something in the work. hide something from my own (sometimes consciousnes sometimes unconscious) though its more then often very good encoded. so in the end almost each work (ok i must admit there are also works from me, which are less personal) is like a window, granting some insight inside myself to the outer world. as i think is with the rest of such 'personal' art...

i think that i use whatever medium i need in order to express my feelings

i think that fact itself expresses my personality, in that i am a very scattered person, and tend to take comfort in anything that fits at the time

my strongest is poetry, this is because i am very good with words and structure

i think that i am yet to find the medium that can express how i truely feel about my surroundings

i want to capture something and give it to others how i get it

not in a watered down or less than perfect way

but that is impossible i think :(
